As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over twenty years of professional counseling experience, Andy works with individuals, couples, and parents. He employs a trauma-informed approach to counseling and is trained in several trauma resolution therapies including EMDR, Internal Family Systems and Emotionally Focused Therapy. Additionally, Andy works with adults of all ages and couples in all seasons of their relationship. Above all, Andy takes your needs into primary consideration as together you employ an integrative approach to addressing both healing and restoration.
With over ten years of experience in Collaborative Family Law matters, Andy serves as a Neutral Facilitator or a co-parenting consultant for families going through the divorce process. Andy has helped dozens of families maintain dignity, respect, and confidentiality while helping creatively solve challenging issues in their divorce process.
Additionally, Andy consults with executives, leaders, businesses, and organizations to increase their teamwork, communication, productivity and relational intelligence. In partnership with other consultants, Andy seeks to liberate leaders and grow organizations to maximize their ability to affect the highest good from their staff, customers, and community.
Andy has earned a Masters in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL. He is a National Certified Counselor and a Qualified Supervisor in the state of Florida. Prior to a career in counseling, Andy earned a BA in Mathematics and Religious Studies from St. Olaf College.
Andy and his wife have lived in Central Florida for over 25 years. Together with their family, they are actively involved in their local church. Away from work, you might also find Andy enjoying sailing, traveling to unique destinations, creating something in his workshop, or spending quality time with his family.
