Andy Blanchard, M.A., LMHC

Andy supports conflicted couples and individuals in their desire to preserve and strengthen their relationships.  He provides an undying hope that your relationships can undergo restoration, because you are uniquely valuable.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over thirteen years of professional counseling experience, Andy works with individuals, couples, and groups.  Andy works with adults in every stage of life and specializes in marriage and intimacy issues with couples in all seasons of their relationship.  He is trained in several trauma resolution therapies including EMDR and takes an integrative approach to addressing both healing and restoration.

Andy has earned a Masters in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL.  He is a National Certified Counselor and a Qualified Supervisor in the state of Florida.  Prior to a career in counseling, Andy earned a BA in Mathematics and Religious Studies from St. Olaf College.

Andy and his wife have lived in Central Florida for over 15 years.  Together with their family, they are actively involved in their local church.  You might also find Andy enjoying sailing, playing in a band, or creating something in his workshop.


Bryce Hagedorn, Ph.D, LMHC, NBCC

Dr. Bryce Hagedorn holds his doctoral degree in Counseling and Counselor Education and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida (License #MH7697).  Additionally, he is a Qualified Clinical Supervisor for the state of Florida, is Nationally Board Certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NCC) and is a Master Addictions Counselor through NBCC. Throughout his career, he has worked in a variety of settings, to include private practice, community mental health clinics, inpatient / outpatient hospitals, intensive outpatient programs, and college counseling centers. This has afforded him the opportunity to specialize in a wide range of therapeutic issues, to include chemical and process addictions (i.e. compulsions with sex, food, gambling, exercise, etc.), depression, anxiety, crisis intervention, interpersonal dynamics, parenting, couples and family work, self-esteem, and stress management.  Dr. Hagedorn works in a variety of spheres, to include individual, couples, family, and
group therapy. Operating from a Wellness perspective, which emphasizes a solution-focused approach to mental “wellness” (versus mental “illness”), he employs techniques from a variety of theories, to include Choice Theory, Gestalt Psychology, and Family Systems Approaches. Further, he provides business related consultative support services, such as team and trust building seminars.

In addition to providing counseling services at Discovery, Dr. Hagedorn is the Director of the Counselor Education Program at the University of Central Florida. He and his family are very active in their church (Northland) where he serves as an Elder overseeing the counseling and care ministries.


Registered Interns


Vicki M. Wotring, MSW, CADC, CSAT

Vicki earned her Master’s in Social Work from Loyola University School of Social Work in Chicago, IL. She also earned a certification in addictions from Montay College in Chicago and a BA from Trinity Evangelical University in Deerfield, IL. and a minor in Psychology. She completed Patrick Carnes training in sexual addictions from the International Institute for Trauma and Addictions and is a CSAT Candidate. She is a Registered
Clinical Social Worker Intern in Florida. Vicki came to Florida from Tucson, AZ. after working at Sierra Tucson a world renowned inpatient treatment center.

She has been a Director of Adult Education and Development, a leader of youth programs, and has led numerous small groups for women and couples. Vicki has also facilitated therapy groups for women and coed groups. She is gifted in teaching, has been on several leadership and presenting teams for retreats and has done extensive public speaking. As a person in recovery her work involves helping individuals, couples and families overcome the grip of addictions and for them to claim victory and celebration in their lives.

She has a heart and passion as a therapist to assist with the restoration and purification process for couples relationships. She has been trained in individual, couples recovery, family of origin, family systems work and the treatment of many different addictions. Currently she leads a support group Women’s Healing and Recovery, for women who are in or have been in a relationship where there has been sexual betrayal.


Be it known that I will teach, encourage, motivate and assist individuals, couples, and families on their journey towards wholeness and healing.

I commit to helping, guiding and directing my clients back to a place of transformation, restoration, reconciliation and redemption for their heart and soul.

Therefore, it is my desire that each person will find a lasting process of change and develop the capacity to celebrate life.

Support Staff

Darby Blanchard, Office and Intake Coordinator

Darby is helping Discovery Counseling build a ministry in the Christian counseling field for the Central Florida community. She serves as the intake coordinator for the office handling all the new clients and settling them comfortably with one of our therapists. Having an extensive background in corporate marketing, she is also overseeing our ongoing efforts to be connected with our community through the internet, brochures, flyers and newsletters for local pastors, doctors, schools, churches and businesses. Darby handles all the insurance billing, office duties, and any additional need that may arise in the ministry. Previous to her connection to Discovery, she was in marketing for a Fortune 100 company and earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration from Ball State University.
